The fact that Fiona already had confidence in him just made him chipper. Did he question what she’s interested in now? Yes. But the fact that she was proud to be with him, that says something, obviously. He smiled back at her at her beautiful smile. He felt as if she saw the most beautiful thing right now.
“I’d do anything to keep that title, my dear.” He said softly in response.
He may have questioned her interests a bit, but she must be as well. The only thing is that he trusts she’s certain. And they’re happy now. He knows he’ll help her. Whatever happens. It’s what best friends do.
When she brought herself down, he slightly frowned, he knew the movie slowly faded to the credits and the moment it did, he turned his upper body to Fiona and crossed his arm over his body to grab the knee that was furthest to him of her, looking straight to her eyes.
“Fiona, you did nothing wrong. Regardless, you don’t deserve it. No girl does it. You’re the last person to. You know that. Don’t believe the lies now, please. It kills me to hear you say that.” He looked down after saying that.
Still listening to her, he looked back up, leaning in closer to her. “I’ve been there to help you figure out a lot of things, as you did with me. It’s not gonna stop me doing that now.” After say that, he leaned in, pressing his lips onto hers softly.

Eli scoffed playfully. “Is that so? Well, if it makes me a good boyfriend, I have no problems with that.” He said with a small smirk curving on his lips. He let Fiona’s elbow nudge against his side and was happy to feel their legs brush. He felt the warmth of her small palm brush against his as well, putting a smile inside him.
When she questioned his feelings, he looked at her from looking at the TV. He could ask himself the same thing. Because her feelings were beyond shocking. It was completely unexpected. When he admitted his feelings, it almost felt like a dream, then he smiled lightly.
“You grow from your past. Which isn’t easy, so I know you’re strong. And just because some asshole abused you, doesn’t mean it was your fault. Not at all. And you didn’t deserve it. You know that. You know you’re a good person. You just… haven’t found someone else to show you the way you want them to show you. And I’ll be glad to show you how great you are..
“Now. Can you answer your own question? But about me? And… adding that I’m a boy?”
